Kasaragod interstate Raod Project is a threat to Karnataka wildlife

The Interstate Raods like Panathur-Bhagamandala, Pulingom- Bhagamandala, Sullya-Bandadukka raods are Greatest Threats to kasaragod and Karnataka wildlife. Many migrants from south kerala who dont have any faith in sacred groves, biodiversity or unaware of the climate change supports for this road. This road may be used by timber, spirit, sand smugglers, poachers and those seeking evade sale tax. Some politians are also supporting this road for 'development'. Another major threats are Cheemeni Thermal Power Plant and Petrochemicals coming up in the district. Environmentalist should concentrate for setting up a wildlife sanctuary in Ranipuram instead of protesting against power plant.
